NOLA Couture

NOLA Couture is a New Orleans based and inspired accessories, ready-to-wear and homeware brand founded by Cecile Hardy in early 2006. The founder and creative director launched the brand shortly after Hurricane Katrina nearly destroyed her hometown of New Orleans. Hardy felt determined to use her fashion skills to make a difference in the city and got to work creating a line that would highlight all the things locals and visitors alike love about New Orleans.

NOLA Couture originally launched with a men’s tie line featuring twelve designs, including some prints that remain some of the brands most popular today. The brand continually looks to its enthusiastic patrons for additional design ideas as it grows its collections, which now include custom-designed and locally manufactured belts as well as children’s items, pet accessories, and homeware. In January of 2016, NOLA Couture acquired a local factory, NOLA Sewn, where it currently manufactures the majority of its accessories. Last spring, after the addition of NOLA Sewn, Nola Couture began offering women’s ready-to-wear, and now aims to produce a new spring/summer and fall/winter line each year.
